Pontresina - Fuorcla Surlej - Corvatsch Murtel

From Pontresina train station, take the main signpost at the car park after the bridge. Turn right here and follow the good path towards Roseg. The last km follows the road, which is relatively heavily used by horse-drawn carriages and bikers on nice days. But at the restaurant we leave the hustle and bustle and climb in some bends in a good 2 hours on a good hiking trail to Fuorcla Surlej. From here on Karrweg in just under 45 minutes to the clearly visible middle station of the Corvatschbahn and take the train down into the valley in a few minutes. Alternative descent on foot via Margun Surlej (approx. +1.30 hours)

Difficulty: Roseg - Fuorcla Surlej (T2), rest T1

The trail is nowhere exposed or dangerous and therefore also suitable for families with smaller children (provided there is enough endurance for 4 - 5 hours of hiking).
