Description
The Prättigauer Höhenweg is a classic among graubünden mountain hikes. The starting point is the mountain station of the Madrisabahn above Klosters at 1,887 m above sea level.M., from where the path leads slightly uphill out of the valley over the Mässplatte to the small settlement of Zastia. From here the ascent to Jägglisch Fürggli begins, the highest point of the tour with a fantastic view. Over the Litziberg it then goes to the Aschariner Alp and from there about 2 km along the Alpbach, before reaching the destination St. Antönien via Mittelascharina.
Madrisa-Land
Dwarves, alpine spirits and root people: The legendary Madrisa-Land directly at the mountain station brings a fascinating variety of over ninety legends and folk tales from Klosters and the surrounding area to new life.
Jägglisch Fürggli
Up here is a Prettigau all-round panorama of superlatives with a view from the Rätikon, Grisons Alps to the Glarus Alps.
St. Antönien
The valley of St. Antönien with its original, scattered Walser houses, which blend beautifully into the dreamlike landscape.
Note(s)
In Davos Klosters, hikers and mountain bikers use the same trails without restrictions. This applies to the entire canton of Graubünden and is unique in the Alps.
