The heart of the tour offers everything the biker soul could wish for. Right at the beginning goes beautifully through ideal flow area - hiking trails perfectly laid out, some smaller roots always up and down in light waves. This sounds unspectacular, but it is the absolute fun factor, which I have hardly found in purity on other trails. A dream...

Then the second part drags on a little, because moderate height wants to be made. everything off the road leads up the lane to the customs house towards the Bernina Pass. about 300 m in a row. Then the road is crossed and it goes on a beautiful bike connecting path (created in 2015) in dream scenery past unique limestone hills and the harbingers of the high Alps. It goes up another 300 m to get a unique bike option with a view of Lake Blanco.

In good weather and enough time, a detour from Lago Blanco to Poschiavo is recommended here - but at least to the Alpe Grüm... Coffee break in a breathtaking film set. This is worthwhile in good weather abslolut. The Bernina-Epress leads directly past and made this station famous. The Piz Pälu in view with a magnificent glacier view - here you can linger well.

TIP : If you have little muse for this, the detour to Poschiavo is recommended - always with a view of the clock. The descent is brilliant and one of the highlights in the Alps. up again by train (Bernina Express) for a good 30 CHF (2916). The detour certainly needs another 3 hours, !!! Heed....

Back to Lago Blanco....

from the Bernina Pass (Lago Blanco) the journey continues to Pontresina / Celerina (St. Moritz) on hiking trails. Fast and mostly on simple flowing trails come only a few beautiful trail pieces, which again require good riding technique and concentration. An emotional spectacle, because everything is there. Beautiful technical short elements, absolute tranquility, fantastic views and flowing trails. Again and again mass gatherings of mountain fans who make the pilgrimage to the Bernina ... and after about 2h you are at the hotel and can hardly believe it again...
