Description
After a short, flat warm-up section, the trail climbs steeply towards Scheia. Past the Haldenhaus, you run across alpine meadows above the Buhaul memorial close to the rock face in the direction of the Bargis high valley. After a short, enjoyable view of the valley, you take a hiking trail and then a single trail to the ruins. Once at the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Flims Laax Falera region. With the impressions of the ruins, you continue along a steep mountain trail in the direction of Trin Mulin. At an altitude of 1146m above sea level, the trail leads over undulating terrain back to Fidaz. Along the high trail you catch a glimpse of the turquoise-blue Crestasee every now and then.
While there may already be snow at higher altitudes, the paths in the valley are still snow-free. Our interactive snow depth map will help you plan your tour. Here you can see at a glance at www.flims.com/schneesituation where you can expect snow on the paths and trails and where you can still go without getting cold feet.
Geheimtipp
Take a few minutes on the ruins and enjoy the view. Very beautiful in the evening light!
Sicherheitshinweis
The last few steps up to the ruins require some surefootedness. So do a few sections of the high-level trail.
