Description

The route starts at Schatzalp, directly at the top station of the funicular. After a climb through the Alpinum, the Podestatenalp and the Schönboda, you reach the Lätschüelfurgga. From here, the trail leads downhill via the Mederger Alp and the Tiejer Forest down to the Isel reservoir lake, where the route climbs briefly and leads to the village of Arosa.

Going back to Davos, the route leads right past Untersee and down to Isel, where the ascent begins. After reaching Furggabödäli, the forest gives way to grassy slopes and rocky mountains. The Maienfelder Furgga marks the start of the descent, which leads over the Chummerbärg before reaching the Stafelalp and leading through the Mattawald forest to Davos Frauenkirch, where the tour ends. From the Landhaus or train station, you can easily get back to the center of Davos by bus or train.

Geheimtipp

A break at Stafelalp for a refreshing snack or drink is highly recommended.
