Scuol – Chamonna Lischana – Lais da Rims – Val d'Uina

From Scuol, the path climbs initially through the forest and later through open railings up to the Chamonna Lischana at an altitude of 2500 m above sea level. The hike continues to climb to Fuorcla da Rims, where the Lais da Rims lake plateau is reached. The karst landscape with around 20 sinkhole lakes is unique in this form. The number of lakes cannot be determined exactly, as individual smaller lakes can dry up or reappear over the summer. Here you turn left. The trail runs to the northeast and leads past numerous other lakes. The descent towards Alp Sursaas is easy to manage from here. Heading north, follow the course of the river to the narrow entrance to the rock path il Quar. The approximately 600-metre-long path, which was blasted into the steep rock face, was laid out at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Already in the rock path you have a view of the Val d'Uina, through which the descent now takes place. The Alp Uina Dadaint is catered for and invites you to refresh yourself for the rest of the route, which now continues on a forest path. In Sur En directly at the end of the valley there are places to stop for refreshments, as well as connections to the PostBus line via Sent to Scuol.
