Description

Across flower meadows, with magnificent views along the sunny slopes of the Engiadina bassa, before entering the wild, wooded Val Sinestra, passing historic buildings, ascending the scenic Fimberpass, the crossing to the Heidelberger Hütte.

Hidden Gem

Long stage, note the train recommendation No. 276 Scuol–Val Sinestra. The stages can also be simplified with public transport.

Safety Note

On high sections, snowfields are possible into the summer months.

The water of the Stron spring was tapped and flowed into a separate basin at the fountain of the same name. Unfortunately, there has been no mineral water flowing anymore for some time now. In all probability it has found a new way (underground) and is therefore considered to have dried up.
