This trail is demanding and exposed in places, with some challenging climbs that are only suitable for riders in good physical condition. The trail mostly follows the ridge and winds along the mountain ridge as a narrow gravel road. Stamina is required here - the climbs are often so steep that you have to push your bike in places. After the Greitspitzbahn cable car, an outstanding trail awaits, giving you an incredible feeling of freedom. At over 2,780 metres above sea level, the trail leads up to the Salaaser Kopf. Then the downhill section begins. It becomes clear why smugglers used to use this trail - there is hardly anyone around. A leisurely trail takes you to the Alp Trider Sattel mountain station.
