Description
The ascent from St. Martin to the Heitel Pass leads along the alpine path through shady fir forest to Malanseralp. On the ascent we have a unique view of the Ringel Group and the Sardona Mountains. Opposite the Chüetal, very close, is the rock niche where the first 10 bearded vultures have been released north of the Alpine ridge in Switzerland since 2010. It is not uncommon to see the majestic birds. The idyllically situated Heitelseeli, an abundance of flowers as far as the eye can see and the rushing waterfalls of Batöni are further highlights. Trained eyes can also see marmots and chamois.
