Ideal beginner trail near the village Sedrun
Details
Description
On the left side of the Drun stream, which can behave like a dangerous dragon in bad weather, we walk with a pleasant slope to Val Strem. After a rockfall in 2016, the once lovely landscape has turned into a boulder field with huge boulders. The waterfall at the valley level Bauns roars and in the slopes we discover marmots, if we take the time to look. A few hairpin bends later we reach Mises with a view to Sedrun and Rueras. We continue easily to Sum Praus and up to Uaul Flurin, the highest point of the trail. Back, it's a leisurely coasting on wide, low-traffic paths.
Sicherheitshinweis
Fairtrail: Hikers share the trail with the mountain bikers.
If there are cows in the pastures, keep your distance.
Directions
From Sedrun train station head north to the bridge. After the bridge, the trail climbs to Mises Grond. Continue to the stream in the little valley and take the narrow, lower path into the Milar Valley. On reaching the tarmac road, the route descends to the train station. Turn left before the underpass. Above Zarcuns, a track leads across the meadow to Camischolas Sura. Turn left once more.
