Description
From the Tenna, Post bus stop, walk in the direction of the Reformed Church. Opposite the little church from the 16th century, the route begins, which leads past old stables and barns up to the Tenner Alp. When trudging through the snow, it feels like walking on a cloud for the hiker. With little effort, the tour offers an impressive backdrop in the best snowshoe terrain. From the Tenner Alp, the tour takes you first flat, then steadily ascending to the summit cross. Once you arrive at the Tenner Chrüz, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Rhine Gorge, all the way to Chur and the Engadine mountains. The descent to Tenner Chrüz leads through a short stretch of forest, past the world's first solar ski lift.
Since we are at the tree line, the wildlife is not far away. Stay on the described route and, above all, do not enter other parts of the forest.

Geheimtipp
A visit to the church in Tenna is highly recommended. It features beautiful murals and an ornate wooden ceiling.
Sicherheitshinweis
Ski and snowshoe tours in unsecured terrain require good knowledge of avalanche danger assessment and tour planning. Furthermore, a complete safety upgrade must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.
We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.
For carefree enjoyment, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.

For us humans, winter is a wonderful time! Snow-covered landscapes, clear, pure air and in the evening after the snowshoe tour, a warm, cozy home awaits you. For our game, such as roe deer, deer and gems, winter is a hard time! Every disturbance by us humans, every escape, becomes torture for these animals and drains their reserves. Stay on the published route! In this way, the wildlife and quiet zones are protected. www.map.geo.gr.ch/gr_webmaps/wsgi/theme/Wildruhezonen
