Hiking trail from Thusis through the Verlorna Loch to the Viamala Gorge visitor center
Details
Description
The hike begins at Thusis railroad station and leads via the Thusis Süd traffic circle to the Beverin restaurant. Now follow the signposts "viaSpluga" & "transviamala" via the old commercial road to Verlorna Loch (note: the path leads below the cantonal road into the Viamala gorge). After passing Rongellen, turn left. Continue along the road down to the Rhine bridge. After the bridge, the hiking trail leads off to the right to Nesslaboda and along the narrow path over the railing (directly opposite the Trögli Gallery A13) to the Viamala Gorge visitor center. The Verlorna Loch is closed in winter.
Any hiking trail closures/restrictions or detour can be found here.
