Details

Description

The Transviamala Curta running experience starts in Thusis and leads on the old road through the "lost hole" to Rongellen. After this first juicy ascent, you leave the road and walk along the "viaSpluga" towards the Viamala Gorge. This section of the route promises stepped climbs, single-trail rock bands, and breathtaking views of the gorge. The Viamala Gorge is crossed on the bridges known from many illustrations. From here it is a constant up and down like a cross-country run, which takes you up to Reischen in intensive climbs. This section holds one of the most impressive experiences: After a steep ascent in a dark wooded area, the wide and open Schamsertal suddenly opens up! After the descent to Zillis, the route leads past the famous St. Martin's Church of Zillis and leads the runner on the ViaSpluga directly to Donat.
