Beautiful circular hike from Valé in the Vals Rhine Gorge. The trail leads over the Ronastäg and a beautiful path above the Wali to Leis.

Directions
The entry point for this hike is the Alte Zerfreilaweg in Valé, as far as you meet the Zerfreilastrasse. On the road, walk to the right until you reach the Rotabärgtunnel. Along the impressive Zerfreila gorge and through the old Zerfreila tunnel you reach the "Ronastäg". A short, steep descent and ascent awaits you here, followed by a beautiful stretch of forest. Shortly afterwards, you pass an old glacier mill and follow the hiking trail to the hamlet of Leis, where you have several options to get back to the village.

Public Transport
to Chur, by RhB to Ilanz and the last 20 km by post bus to Vals.
Anreise Information
Exit to Chur South in the direction of Reichenau, Flims-Laax and turn off in Ilanz in the direction of Vals.
Parking
Park your car in the car park of the Vals mountain railway. Cost CHF 5/day.
