Description

During this stage we cross the landslide area of Flims/Laax, cross a few steep side valleys and enjoy the breathtaking views down into the gorge of the Anterior Rhine.
Shortly after leaving Trin-Digg, we cross the Val Pintrun, one of the aforementioned side valleys that lead steeply down to the Anterior Rhine. Less than an hour later we arrive in Conn, where there is a restaurant and a viewing platform waiting for us, which rises above the Rhine Gorge and allows us to test whether we are really free from vertigo. The steep erosion furrows are the dominant impressions on this stage.
After an initially quite sloping descent towards Sagogn, we come to the wild Val da Mulin, which we cross and then ascend towards Laax. Above Laax it becomes flatter and we can hike relaxed to Falera, all this with changing, wonderful views over the Anterior Rhine Valley.

Geheimtipp

If you have concerns about dizziness on the following descent after the platform at Conn, you can climb from Conn to the main road and then hike at this altitude to Laax.

Wetness can also be a reason for the high-altitude hike.
