Description
The Outdoor Fitness Trails in the Heidiland holiday region comprise more than 30 uniformly signposted running routes from a total of 10 stations, making it one of the largest open-air fitness parks in the Alpine region. The Winkelzahn Trail is one of five running trails around the Flumserberg station.
The starting point for this 5.6 km long trail is the info point of the Flumserberg station at the Molseralp restaurant above the valley station to the Maschgenkamm (1391 m above sea level). M). For the first few metres, the Winkelzahn Trail leads up a narrow hiking trail to the spectacular roundabout of the Floomzer (1494) - the summer toboggan run on the Flumserberg. From there, the hiking trail turns into a well-developed alpine road, from which you have a wonderful view of the Churfirsten. The trail leads over open pastures and a small high moor over hilly terrain to the Winkelzahn forest clearing (1554). After a few 100 meters, the trail turns left into the forest onto a narrow but well-maintained hiking trail, which leads to the start of the FLOOMZER (1631). This is the highest point of the Winkelzahn Trail. From the start of the FLOOMZER, the trail leads down to the Chrüz (1596) and from there - often along the FLOOMZER - back to Molseralp.
