Description

The starting point is the cross-country ski centre in Pontresina. First there is a short stretch along the road in the direction of the village before the winter hiking trail leads up into the forest and to the small railway station of Surovas. Follow the winter hiking trail along the frozen Ova da Bernina to the Morteratsch railway station and then go further on the wide path to the Morteratsch glacier. Always in view: the stunning Bernina Group. Take the same way back to the Morteratsch railway station and continue on the road to Camping Morteratsch. Follow the winter hiking trail through the campsite, along the pass road, and back to Pontresina.
