Hall Concert Graubünden Brass

At its two concerts, Graubünden Brass presents a contemporary and entertaining programme of original brass band literature.

At the heart of the programme is the top-class test piece "Within Blue Empires" by Paul Lovatt-Cooper. This composition occupies a special position in his work and has established itself as an important test piece for brass band competitions. Originally written as a commissioned work for the renowned Black Band, it has since been used as a self-chosen piece at various prestigious competitions. But it's far more than a technical masterpiece – it tells a captivating musical story about the fascinating world of the oceans.

The rest of the concert program includes many entertainment works. In addition, soloists from their own ranks will know how to inspire the audience.

Graubünden Brass is an ensemble of ambitious amateur and professional musicians from all over the canton of Graubünden. With its lively concert activity in the canton, Graubünden Brass is always able to inspire its audience. The band regularly participates in brass band competitions at home and abroad.
