Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Winter village tour Churwalden

Description
Did you know that Churwalden was once an important stop on the trade route to Italy? Even the Romans and merchants of the Middle Ages travelled through this valley. Horses were changed here, travellers rested and spa guests enjoyed the fresh Alpine air and the healing whey. Today, Churwalden is the gateway to the Arosa-Lenzerheide holiday region - but its history lives on! Discover the cradle of the famous Bündnerfleisch, find out what the Tavetsch sheep has to do with the name of our canton and immerse yourself in the fascinating past of this special place.
