Hotel Bodenhaus im Sommer

The Hotel Bodenhaus is located in the centre of the village of Splügen at 1,457 m above sea level. It is one of the oldest and most traditional hotels in the canton of Graubünden, with many celebrities immortalised in its historic guest book.

Description

Local and regional specialities are very popular at the Hotel Bodenhaus. Grisons meat, salsiz, Grisons raw ham from regional suppliers and mountain cheese from the Splügen dairy are served on the Bodenhaus platter. The Grisons specialities "Capuns" and "Bündner Nusstorte" are still made here in the hotel kitchen according to traditional recipes. À propos recipes: it is not without good reason that they say in Graubünden: There are as many different Capuns recipes as there are households. In the past, the ingredients depended on what was in stock. Incidentally, the homemade Bündner nut cake is rated "the best" by regular guests.

The three restaurants also serve varied, light and creative cuisine with gourmet menus. Depending on the season, fish, asparagus, steak and game specialities are also available. There is a wide range of wines on offer. A banqueting hall for up to one hundred people is available for larger parties. Private seminar rooms are also available.
