Description

The Arosa Trail 46 (AT 46) is the perfect challenge for advanced trail runners. With a distance of over 50km and almost 3,000m of altitude difference a high pulse frequency is guaranteed. The trail starts off like the AT 22 but has an additional crispy climb at the Strelapass - a 360° panoramic view to Arosa included.

Directions

The trail starts in Arosa, leads via the Weisshorn summit to the Hörnli summit, along the beautiful Älplisee lake and the Schwellisee lake. From the restaurant Alpenblick the trail continues towards the Tschuggen Grand Hotel and passing the Scheitenböden it leads back to the Post office Arosa. Then the trails sets for the second loop. From the village centre it leads downhill to the reservoir lake Isel where the ascent to the Strelapass begins. The trail returns via Medergen back to the reservoir lake and all the way back up to the sports ground Ochsenbühl in Arosa.
