Extensive trail with magnificent views and descent with the cable car
Details
Description
At the valley station of the mountain railway in Disentis we start along the Aclettabach to Acletta. Partly flat or only moderately steep we walk on low-traffic district roads or dirt roads to Mompé-Tujetsch, a small Walser village with pretty houses. At the fountain we quench our thirst and cool face and arms - just like Sebastian Kneipp. Refreshed, we continue along the railway line to Bugnei. Now we are optimally warmed up for the ascent. On a forest road we reach the point where we branch off onto a hiking trail and from where we have a beautiful view of Sedrun. Until we reach the highest point, the Bostg (Piz Plaun Grond), strength and endurance are still quite demanded. But what follows is "chocolate"! The high-altitude trail to Caischavedra winds in slight ups and downs through the Val Segnas, with magnificent views into the valley.
Geheimtipp
We take a refreshing foot bath in the Val Segnas in the stream.
Directions
From the valley station uphill into Val Acletta, continue through Acletta and Segnas to Mompé-Tujetsch. Then flat and parallel to the railway tracks to Bugnei. Before the level crossing, we turn right onto a forest road. At the second bend we turn right again steeply onto a single trail and for a short time, at the next signpost, turn right again. At the Mises dil Bostg, the turnoff on the meadow is not optimally visible. It goes up to the left behind the huts. From Bostg short descent to a small saddle and then to the right on the signposted hiking trail to Caischavedra.
