Description

From Celerina along the railway tracks and then following the Cresta Run up to St. Moritz Dorf. Past the Kulm Hotel, where Switzerland's first electric light was lit in 1879, and the leaning tower, the trail branches off to the right. Up through the forest to Chantarella and via Salastrains and Alp Nova on through the limestone formations towards Corviglia. Not only the view of St. Moritz and the lakes makes the route attractive, but also the prospect of seeing edelweiss along the way makes the area special. Under Corviglia, it's just a few more metres of altitude and you reach Lej Alv. From the lake, you go to Corviglia and comfortably by funicular down to St. Moritz.
