Description

We start our culinary tour at Flumserberg Tannenboden. Before you have your appetiser, you can enjoy the view of Lake Walen on the Seeblickrundweg (optional). After the appetiser, you hike up to Chrüz, where you will have your well-deserved main course. The view of the seven Churfirsten peaks is unique. Strengthened, you walk to Alp Tannenboden, where you round off your culinary journey with a dessert.

Geheimtipp

Combine the culinary tour with a fast-paced toboggan ride on the FLOOMZER (optional).

Sicherheitshinweis

The path from the Winkelzahn junction to the Chrüz mountain restaurant is a narrow mountain hiking trail.

Ausrüstung

Normal hiking equipment. Depending on the weather, good footwear (hiking boots) is recommended, otherwise light trekking shoes are sufficient for the tour.

Directions

Flumserberg Tannenboden - Restaurant Molseralp

From the Flumserberg Tannenboden car park (chargeable) you can reach the Molseralp restaurant in 5-10 minutes on foot. Optionally, before you have your starter, you can enjoy the view of Lake Walen on the Seeblickrundweg. To do this, turn right onto the circular path next to the Chrüz chairlift valley station (in front of the two stables) (distance approx. 700 metres, duration 15 minutes).

Restaurant Molseralp - Mountain Restaurant Chrüz

The first part of the trail from Molseralp to the Chrüz mountain restaurant leads you on a hiking path directly along the Chrüz chairlift. As soon as you reach the gravel path, turn right in the direction of Winkelzahn/Seebenalp. In Winkelzahn, turn left onto the forest path towards Chrüz (3 km, approx. 1 hour). If you want to make a detour to the Seeben lakes, add about 1 hour for the additional stretch Winkelzahn - Seeben lakes - Winkelzahn.

Chrüz Mountain Restaurant - Restaurant Sennästube

The hiking trail starts right next to the Chrüz mountain restaurant in the direction of Tannenbodenalp. After about half of the trail, at the crossing of the hiking trails, turn right towards Tannenboden (under the toboggan run). In the forest you will reach a fork in the trail (BikerTrail junction). At the mirror, turn right in the direction of the rest area hut. At the rest area hut, you have the choice (straight ahead or right) of how to hike to the Sennästube. The distance is 2.3-2.6 km and the hiking time 35-45 minutes.

If you would like to extend your hike after the main course, you have the option of walking from the Chrüz mountain restaurant in the direction of Prodalp. The hike also starts next to the Chrüz mountain restaurant and first leads uphill through the forest. Afterwards you can enjoy a magnificent panorama. Two hiking trails lead from Prodalp to Alp Tannenboden/Restaurant Sennästube. Past the CLiiMBER climbing tower on a narrow, somewhat steep, direct path or past the Prodalp mountain station along the road. On this hike you walk 3.2 km or 4.5 km and need 1 hour 5 minutes or 1 hour 20 minutes.
