Fil da Rueun

You could make a round trip out of it. However, this is rather difficult to plan due to the sparse public transport connections. We therefore recommend planning the tour either from the sunny mountain village of Siat or from the Sogn Francestg chapel on the road to Pigniu.

You climb steadily up over alpine meadows. But it never gets boring, as the regular steeper slopes require constant route planning and keep the mind alert. The views become increasingly magnificent the higher you get. Brown barns with their warm wooden façades regularly invite you to take a break.

We end the route description here at P.2322, but you could continue along the Fil da Rueun - depending on the risk of avalanches, weather conditions and fitness level.

The tour can be aborted at any time. Many turn around in the Alp da Rueun area. This means that the tour can be customized.

Those who prefer a tour from A to B can do this perfectly. Due to the sparse post bus connection to Pigniu, we recommend doing the tour from Sogn Francestg to Siat.

A stop at the Ustria Steila in Siat is a good end to the tour.

Caution: The area between the route descriptions (Run Sut, Valdun) is a wildlife sanctuary and access is prohibited from 20.12. to 15.04.
