Description

Inquire about the small treasures of Obersaxen Mundaun. In Meierhof, the discovery tour begins along the leisurely panoramic path Misanenga, Platenga to Surcuolm. Arrived in Surcuolm, we stop for a leisurely stop and strengthen ourselves before our hike continues to Lake Dachli. Enjoy nature with all its facets to the fullest. The path continues through forest and fields slightly uphill back to Meierhof.

Geheimtipp

The idyllic fireplace at Lake Dachli offers ideal conditions for a longer rest. Pack your picnic items and enjoy the warm grilled food.

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Two mines were once operated in the municipality of Obersaxen Mundaun. The silver mines of Affeier and the ironworks in the Platenga-Tobel, whose 240 m long tunnel system is now open to tourists. Surselva Tourism Info Obersaxen organises guided tours to the show mine during the summer.

Kapelle Drei Könige Platenga, Obersaxen

The chapel in Platenga is dedicated to the Epiphany. The festival is on January 6th. The Epiphany are patrons of pilgrims and travellers; the furrier; against sorcery, epilepsy, thunderstorms and hail. Their intercession is also invoked against sudden death.
