Description

At the train station in Disentis we start in the direction of the village church, then past the Wollkarderei to the chapel Sontga Gada.Down by the Rhine, in Cuflons, there is a nice fireplace, if a barbecue lunch is planned. After a bridge, the foundations of which date back to Roman times, we ride gently up and down along the rushing Rhine. In between we allow ourselves a deep look into the stream bed, where glacier pots filled with clear water glisten.

Arriving in Fontanivas, the children will be thrilled by the water playground. But before we finish the loop, we get an ice cream at the kiosk of the campsite.

This gives us energy for the short ascent to Salaplauna. If necessary, we push a few meters. At the top, the final highlight is the stone-lined path with a view of the village and the monastery.

Suitable for children aged 12 and over. On the descent to Cuflons, the children must be able to brake well, the ascent to the Salaplauna is not rideable (push) Be careful when crossing the Lukmanierstrasse.

Directions

From Disentis train station we start in the direction of the village church. After the church we turn off lins, following the signpost "Horticultura". At the height of the Sontga Gada chapel, a wide hiking trail leads down to Cuflons. To the right of the bridge is the fireplace. After the bridge we turn left. We cross under the Lukmanier pass road and follow it a hundred meters in the direction of Disentis. At the access road to the campsite it goes down. We drive right at the lake and along the Rehin until the descent of the hiking trail that leads left up to Disentis. After the stone-lined path we drive over the bridge, turn right. We meet the access road to Cavardiras and turn left to the train station.
