An ideal ski tour for the starting point Lü. The technically easy ski tour takes you to the border where the Piz Terza or Urtirolerspitz offers an excellent view of the surrounding area. The Val Müstair, Vinschgau, Val s-Charl, the Stilfserjoch and the Bernina and Ortler groups are all visible.

Directions

An alpine path leads eastwards from Lü to a forest clearing, through a larch forest and on to Alp Valmorain. The ascent continues northwards to a small alpine hut (2388 m) and on to the valley basin of Valbella. Below the Fuorcla Sassalba you come to a signpost and then follow the summer hiking trail eastwards to the summit of Piz Terza. The descent follows the same route.

Public Transport

With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, from the Upper Engadine or Scuol) hourly to Zernez.

Then take PostBus route 90.811 from Zernez to "Fuldera cumün" and then take PostBus route 90.832 to Lü cumün

Anreise Information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27 and on the H28 in the direction of Val Müstair. In Fuldera, turn off to Lü.

From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of Mals and then on the H28 in the direction of Zernez. In Fuldera, turn off to Lü.

From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) in the direction of Mals and then on the H28 in the direction of Zernez. In Fuldera, turn off to Lü.
