Description
When we arrive at the free parking lot in Prasüas, the Express Parc Naziunel (train) is just ready, which can't be a coincidence:-) The children really want to take the train, so put on their hiking boots and off we go the first part towards the Varusch parking hut. The ride takes only a few minutes and could be conveniently twinned via QR code!
In Varusch we first notice the fresh temperature today. We have packed the winter jackets, but it is the first time this autumn that it is so fresh. Fortunately, hiking is warm, so we don't stay long and make our way towards Alp Purcher, always along the Ova da Trupchun. In the riverbed there is a huge amount of bedload, here it must really rage when a thunderstorm rain falls further up!
The path is easy and the view to the back of the valley is more and more beautiful and, above all, sunnier. The warm colours of the larches are simply overwhelming. Arriving at Alp Purcher, we sit down on a tree trunk and see which way we should continue to take. Since we are rather late on the road, we decide to take the short but steep ascent to the opposite side of the valley up to the hiking trail. Almost 70 metres further up, it runs back towards Punt da Val da Scrigns.
On this section of the trail, too, the view is always phenomenal and cool forest sections alternate with sunny spots. That's a good thing, because now the bise blows directly from the front, which is quite unpleasant. Arriving at the bridge, we make ourselves comfortable on the beautiful wooden bench for a short time before we tackle the last part for today back to Prasüras. The children are starving (at least they say), which screams for a load of French fries and chicken wings in the small restaurant:-) If only the journey wasn't so far, I would love to come back tomorrow and explore more ways!
Most of the time we are on the road as a family of four, but in between also in a different constellation or even alone. We enjoy the tours and are on the road comfortably, including many (photo) breaks. So it is never our goal to make a track as fast as possible, so that we are not completely exhausted in the end. The indicated hiking time is generally including a break, especially if we have a barbecue on the way, it can sometimes be longer. We have an average level of fitness and are connoisseurs. Our routes are sometimes shorter and sometimes longer, but we are on the road in wind and weather. We respect nature and never leave waste lying around.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the current tour, I will be happy to give you an answer as soon as possible. All tours marked with a "P" after the date in the title were done "privately" with the family, all with "G" accordingly in business, i.e. professionally.
