Description

From the train station, walk in the direction of the village centre, where the Tamina Gorge is signposted. However, the hike first takes you to the spa gardens of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, where you can look at the imposing sequoias. Afterwards you walk along the wild Tamina through the ever-narrowing ravine. At the Alter Bad Pfäfers you cross the river and reach the turnstile, which lets you into the magical rock world. Via footbridges and a tunnel you finally reach the spring grotto. From the Alter Bad Präfers you can return to Bad Ragaz on the same route. Alternatively, you can also take the Schluchtenbus or the Rösslipost for the way back.

Sequoia trees (place of power): The spa gardens of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz are home to many strong, beautiful trees, among which the two large Sequoiadendron giganteum are particularly striking. Both trees have high energies, but one has significantly less energy than the other.

Wächterstein: On the way to the Alte Bad Pfäfers, you will come across the Wächterstein in the Tamin Gorge. For earlier man, nature was naturally animated. If there was a conspicuous stone on the path that shines noticeably, it has been given a special significance.

The history of the last surviving baroque bath in Switzerland begins in 1240, when, according to legend, two hunters discovered the warm spring. Over the years and centuries, Bad Pfäfers grew and became a sought-after, international spa with a famous clientele. The original baroque bath chapel, renovated in neo-Gothic style, is dedicated to St. Magdalene. You are here in a strong place of power. The intensity of the earth's radiation is very high, the quality of the energies is build-up and degrading and can support healing processes.

Quellgrotte (Heilplatz): Past the Alter Bad Pfäfers you walk through the turnstile (entry/coin slot) into the gorge. Help yourself to the small thermal water fountain in the tunnel, the water is healthy, its energies are high, the energy quality is build-up and degrading, which can bring the organism into balance with frequent and regular use. From an energetic point of view, this is a healing place.
