Description

This snowshoe trail is marked.

The round trip starts at the Catholic parish church of St. Zeno in Ladir. From there, the marked trail leads across a meadow to the end of the village, where the cross-country ski trail is located. From here, it is recommended to walk the snowshoe trail clockwise. So it goes off to the left over meadows and through woods. The route offers regular ascents for enjoyable snow stomping. A steeper section presents itself only on the descent. The highlight of this snowshoe trail is the Alp la Muota, which rests in deep hibernation until the next alpine summer. Once at the top, a graceful winter landscape welcomes you. It offers peace and quiet and an impressive all-round view. The view of the Signina Group with the Piz Fess or in the direction of Val Lumnezia and Vals is impressive. From Alp la Muota, you finally return along the same path before following the continuing circular tour back towards Ladir. This snowshoe trail is quite snow-sure.

Geheimtipp

Stop at the restaurant La Terrassa in Ladir and enjoy a delicacy. When the weather is nice, the large terrace is open.

From October to about the end of April, the "Tancadi Run Giosch" (self-service snack hut) is open. The path of this route passes by this "petrol station".

Sicherheitshinweis

Please considerately do not enter the cross-country ski trail with snowshoes. Thank you very much!

This marked tour takes place in mainly safe terrain. However, if there is a larger avalanche vehicle, we strongly advise against the ascent.

We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.
