Tschiertschen - Urdensee - Hörnli (03)

From the village centre (1343 m above sea level) M) you climb over the Oberdorf, the "Bödem" and the "Clüs" as well as the "Alpbach" (1576 m above sea level). M) to the junction into the Urdental at the "Bleiswald". After the somewhat steeper ascent through the "Oberwald" and the "Schafalp", you reach the Urder Alpweg (1853 m.a.s.l. This leads you to the Alp "Inner Urden" (1974 m.a.s.l. M) and after overcoming the steep step of the so-called "Geisterhang" to the beautiful, legendary "Urdensee" (2249 m above sea level). Now two marked footpaths continue (north or south of the "Urdensee"). The northern trail is a bit steeper, but offers wonderful views down to the lake. Both paths take you to the "Hörnlihütte" (2513 m above sea level) in about the same time. M, mountain restaurant).

From the Hörnlihütte you can take the gondola to Innerarosa or on foot on one of the various hiking routes via the "Carmennahütte" (2134 m above sea level) and LAW middle station (2015 m above sea level) to Arosa (1739 m above sea level) or, directly or via "Älplisee" (2156 m above sea level) and "Schwellisee" (1933 m above sea level), to Innerarosa.

The descent from the «Hörnlihütte» to Tschiertschen on the described ascent route takes about 2 1/4 hours.
