Description
Moderate mountain tour, T 3 - no climbing, not exposed, (south of the Flüela-Schwarzhorn rough block terrain - time-consuming).
A few huts and alpine pastures at altitudes of 2000m invite you to stop for a bite to eat along the way. In the Inn Valley there are very attractive villages and always wooden benches to linger.
Geheimtipp
On the final day, a ride on the Rhaetian railway from Preda to Bergün (9SFR) and the return ascent to Preda is recommended.
The morning hike around the Lai da Palpuogna is fairytale-like.
All accommodations and the HP on the tour are not cheap - but worth their price - about 60 SFR/HP for DAV-ler in 2017! You can drink water instead of beer!
Another final alternative is the circumnavigation around the Piz Ela, starting in Preda, overnight stay in the self-catering hut Cna d'Ela, descent via Bergün.
Sicherheitshinweis
We did not notice any exposed places - but sure-footedness is important, especially in the block area, in the pathless terrain / at / after fresh snow.
The trail marking below the Fuorcle Pischa is suboptimal after fresh snow (partly faded, partly not visible, because too close to the ground).
In general, heavy snowfall must be expected on the heights of the Albula Mountains even in summer - observe the weather forecast and take equipment with you as a precaution.

Directions
The daily stages from hut to hut / accommodation are easy to master in 5 to 7 hours walking time - except for pass and mountain ascents in fresh snow / winter onset - then it becomes exhausting.
The paths, panoramic paths and beautiful valley paths are well laid out and marked and do not require any special explanation.
Day 1 Directions to Madulain and if necessary parking at the train station. Beautiful south ascent to Chamanna d'Es-cha, 2594m. There wonderful view to O to SW, in the south / center the Bernina Group.
Day 2 over the Fuorcla Pischa, 2871m, down into the Plazbi valley; shortly after the Alp digl Chants, 1980m, east up to Chamanna digl Kesch, 2630m.
Day 3 - beautiful panoramic path northwards - it is worth a detour to the Lai da Ravais-ch-Sur, 2562m, - continue high over the Val Funtauna to the Scaletta Pass, 2606m, then descent on a wide path to the junction, 2300m, eastwards crossing to the ascent from Dürrboden to Grialetschhütte, 2542m, idyllic seelein plateau.
Day 4 - over rough block terrain (time-consuming) to Fuorcla da Radönt, 2788m, descent through block-gravel-terrain-boiler, 2671m, ascent over Schwarzhornfurgga, 2880m, zigzag over the south-ridge to the summit of the Flüela-Schwarzhorn, 3146m, - unfortunately often in fog. Various descent alternatives: Recommendation: via Fuorcla da Radönt 250m descent SW, then following weak markings SSO 900 m abwärtas to the main path between Flüela-Pass and Grialetschhütte (only short block passage).
Day 5 - from the Grialetschhütte back (down and up) to the Scaletta Pass, 2606m, then down on a wide path to Alp Funtauna, 2101m, continue on a wide path to SO next to the roaring Vallember stream (very photogenic) descend to Susauna, 1682m, easy ascent through magnificent mountain forest to 1750m in the large round to S-chanf, 1670m, and 3 km further to the Konvict in Zuoz, 1680m.
Day 6 - 2 1/2 km walk to the neighboring village of Madulain and there to the parking lot at the train station. Then drive over the Albula Pass, 2312m; a detour to the Lai da Palpuogna is especially worthwhile in the morning; then continue to Preda, 1789m, and from here with the Rhaetian Railway/Glacier Express, UNESCO World Heritage, down the valley to Bergün. The approximately 2 1/2 hour hiking ascent back to Preda allows the impressive view of several trains (30 minutes). Overnight at the Gasthaus Albula-Hospiz.
