Description

From Celerina, the route takes you past the church of San Gian via Pontresina to Morteratsch. Then the ascent begins to Bernina Diavolezza and along Lej Nair and Lej Pitschen to the dam wall of Lago Bianco. The altitude is reached at the Ospizio Bernina railway station. Along the lake and down to Alp Grüm, the most beautiful vantage point into the Poschiavo Valley and Italy.  The singletrail descent down to Poschiavo also begins at Alp Grüm.  A good 1000 metres in altitude have to be conquered, and the reward is a pizza or gelato on the piazza in Poschiavo. The day ends with a leisurely train ride along the Unesco World Heritage route up to the Bernina Pass and the descent to Alp Grüm to your accommodation.

Casa Alpina Belvedere: The guesthouse is an oasis, a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and at the same time the starting point for a voyage of discovery into the surrounding nature. Casa Belvedere is located above the Alp Grüm railway station. Each room has its own character as well as an individual view.

Albergo Ristorante Alp Grüm: After the indescribable play of colours of the sunset, peace and quiet return and only the sounds of nature can be heard. The Albergo Ristorante Lap Grüm is located directly at the Alp Grüm railway station. It's high time for a delicious dinner with the specialities of the house: Pizzoccheri and Cordon Bleu.
