Directions
You follow the route up the Pass da Casnil until just before the top of the pass, where the path leaves the rocky rib to traverse towards the southern crossing of the pass. It is exactly at this point that you leave the path and turn left. You go past the foot of the rise between the two pass crossings over a gentle firn field. At the northern pass, which is occupied by a small lake, one continues straight on between boulders towards a gully that sits in the left part of the rock triangle above. Further up, one climbs over rocks. One should follow the passage tracks and pay attention to various cairns as signposts; in stretches by climbing between ordered boulders and easy slabs (grade II), one thus reaches the highest peak (3189 m). The descent follows the same route.
