Description

The path leads from Rüti to Dörfji. Shortly before you leave the route which points into the valley and follow your trail in an easterly direction over the Alpelti into the Alpeltitälli, between the Gämpiflue in the south and the Schollberg in the north. Shortly before the St. Antönierjoch you turn left and climb in a straight line northwards up to the Riedchopf-Furgga (2540 m above sea level.M.). From this transition to Partnun you reach the summit of the Riedchopf in a northeasterly direction over the ridge. From the Riedchopf, also called Ronggspitz, you can also start to wonderful descents down to Gargellen. From the Riedchopf-Furgga you reach Partnun northwards through a narrow gully*. This racy descent is only recommended in safe conditions, otherwise departure along the ascent route.

*This couloir is mistakenly called silbertäli. But it is the Riedchopftäli. The real Silbertäli leads from the apex of the two Täli in a westerly direction to the Schollberg.
