Signalized snowshoe trail: Giraniga / Huot

Details
Description
At the beginning, the route leads along meadow slopes and crosses above the village of Pilavarda. Now a few steeper slopes have to be mastered. However, these are rather short and easy to manage for most people. Things become more idyllic shortly before Huot. The hilly landscape up to the magnificent viewpoint is pure enjoyment. With a bit of luck, you may spot chamois here. Please keep quiet so as not to frighten the animals too much. An extensive rest at Huot is almost a must. The panorama here stretches from Oberalpstock, over the Brigelserhörner to the Ringelspitz or the Calanda.
The first few meters of the way back are over a beautiful shoulder, before you head straight down. This gives you a boost and is fun at the same time. Once you reach the winter hiking trail, the signs point either back to Sand or to Giraniga.
