Description
Let's start at the Turrahus. If you want to fortify yourself before or after the tour, the 300-year-old Walserhaus is the right place for you. The ascent over the old pass path does not start as flat as it would be ideal for running in. On the other hand, you quickly gain altitude. In the area of the Falätscher Hütta, the trail is a little flatter again and you can relax well. At about 2100 meters above sea level, a short but very steep slope has to be overcome. This is often very tricky and may only be walked on in safe conditions. On the last 300 meters of altitude, the mountain world becomes more and more exciting and impressive. We often move close to the historic pass path, which is certainly hardly visible under the deep snow cover.
On the Tomül Pass, you can either descend again with a small additional loop on the ascent route or you can still take the Strätscherhora with you. The beautiful plateau towards the summit is an excellent experience and definitely worth it. After about 150 meters in altitude, you will reach the summit and can now descend over your broad shoulder. We indicate here the variant directly after want to. But you can also take the longer route via Alp Pianetsch. With both variants, it is essential to pay attention to the wildlife rest areas.

Sicherheitshinweis
Ski and snowshoe tours in unsecured terrain require good knowledge of avalanche danger assessment and tour planning. Furthermore, a complete safety upgrade must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.
We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.
For carefree enjoyment, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.
