Description
From the Gün junction at the post office stop, the route begins with a short stretch along the road heading south, then continues over the bridge and left along a dirt track to the valley floor. After crossing the bridge over the Rabiusa, the ascent to the Bischolpass begins. The path now climbs gently but steadily up the mountain. The Maiensäss Mädelti is the perfect place for a first break with a magnificent view. Refreshed, we continue up to above the tree line, where we soon reach the top of the pass. Here we turn south and walk along the dirt track to the buildings of Alp Lüsch. From there, we continue to the right on a small road until it turns into a footpath again. We reach the highest point of the hike via the Glasergrat ridge, where we can enjoy a wonderful view of the Piz Beverin, the Domleschg and the Safiental.
We continue over the Bruchbüel down to the Glaspass. From there, the trail leads from Usser Glas along the little road to Inner Glas and then along the historic path down to Safien Platz.
