From and to Kartitscha you can alternatively take the chairlift and save a few meters of depth and altitude.

From Vella you can take the train to Triel. After the start, you then walk downhill to Davos Munts instead of straight ahead and can enjoy even more views.
If you want, you can extend the tour from Lumbrein to Vrin. However, the winter hiking trail from Lumbrein via Val da Mulin, Sogn Adriu, Val Miedra to Vrin is not mechanically groomed. This part is groomed with snowshoes and is therefore also easiest to walk with snowshoes. However, if there is no snowfall for a long time, the trail is hard and often can be done without snowshoes. After heavy snowfall, this section may not (yet) be groomed.
