The start of this bike tour in the heart of the Beverin Nature Park is the Walser village of Sufers. The ascent of around 1000 meters in altitude requires some stamina, but is ultimately entertaining. Soon the tree line is crossed and the view becomes clear into the abandoned Steilertal, up the Rheinwald, over to the Splügen Pass - and finally to the plateau with the picturesque Lai da Vons.
